Is a coaching franchise right for me?
Is a football coaching franchise right for you? If you're passionate about sports, eager to inspire kids, and seek a rewarding business opportunity, it could be!

Common concerns about coaching
Every great journey starts with understanding your potential. We address the most frequent questions franchisee candidates ask.
No football coaching experience
Ideally, we need our franchisees to have some football coaching experience at the grassroots level. If you do not yet have any experience, see if there are teams or academies in your area where you could volunteer.
No experience with children
Experience working with children is obviously desirable, but not essential. What we’re really looking for is passion, dedication and enthusiasm. We also need commitment – running a franchise requires investing your time. And, in order to work with children, you’ll of course need to undergo a DBS check.
Lack of coaching qualifications
If you have coaching experience but lack qualifications, don’t worry. You can start with the FA’s free BT Playmaker course, which teaches basic skills to connect with players and create fun training sessions. Next, you’ll need the FA’s Introduction to Coaching Football qualification, which We Make Footballers can help you obtain as a franchisee.
I’ve never run a business before
Running a business can be challenging and risky. As a franchisee with We Make Footballers, you'll gain from an established brand and receive tailored training and support for coaching and business management.
